Grand Canyon National Park, in Arizona, is home to much of the immense Grand Canyon, with its layered bands of red rock revealing millions of years of geological history. Viewpoints include Mather Point, Yavapai Observation Station and architect Mary Colters Lookout Studio and her Desert View Watchtower. Lipan Point, with wide views of the canyon and Colorado River, is a popular, especially at sunrise and sunset.

Parking Location

Williams Arizona Forest Service Dispersed, pull offs on any Forest Road at least quarter mile from Hwy 180/64. Free, All year, 50 foot max RV length, 6520 ft elevation, accepts big rigs. Trails and hiking from camping area.

Directions and Other Information

Take 89A North to I-17N to I-40 West, to 64 North to fire road 688. The host should get there the day before to select an area to park and post signs
