Talkeetna is located at the convergence of three glacial rivers overlooking a 20,000 foot peak. Take a white water rafting excursion, jet boat or river boat, or go flightseeing. There are also zipline tours, fishing and hiking. Take a walk around downtown Talkeetna for quaint shops, breweries, and restaurants. The Hurricane Turn Train will take you from Talkeetna to Hurricane Gulch or the Denali Star Route runs from Anchorage to Fairbanks with stops in Talkeetna and Denali.

Take the Glenn Hwy to the George Parks Hwy, then north to milepost 96.6. The park entrance is on the left. If you reach the Talkeetna Spur Road, you have gone too far. There are 36 Campsites, no RV size limit, with toilets and water, $20/night.
