Elks Lodge #1972 Campground, 440 Osage St., Sweet Home, OR 97386, (541) 367-3559 (ask for Donna).
Be cautious upon arrival from the direction of West Hwy 20 to Osage St. The entrance on Osage is a very steep incline that could be hazardous with an overhang of over 2’. It’s best to take a right on First Ave. then turn right onto Nandina, then right onto Westwood St, then left back to Osage to avoid the steep incline. There are six sites with full hookups for $15/night, as well as ample space for dry camping at $10/night. This campground is only open to Elk members. The lodge is closed on Tuesdays. They offer an evening meal Wednesday through Saturday, as well as bar food. There is also an exercise room and sauna for our use. The host should contact the lodge a couple of weeks prior to arrival with an estimated number of campers.
