Activity Ideas

Explore the California Cheese Trail and check out some of the local wines. Explore Tomales Bay which is great for kayaking and hiking. Visit Shollenberger Park, Helen Putnam Regional Park and Lucchesi Park. Check out the Lavender Bee Farm, Adobe Road, Penngrove Power and Implement Museum, Petaluma Wildlife Museum, Sonoma Portworks just to name a few of the places to see. Blue Water Kayaking rents kayaks on Tomales Bay and they know the tides. Drive the north end of PT Reyes National Seashore and maybe see rare Tule Elk and add a stop at Bovine Bakery. Visit the hippie town of Sebastpol with lots of wine tasting, Stenson Beach known for surfing, Bolinas Lagoon for great birding, Mt Tam for hiking, Old Redwoods in Muir Woods.
