Pagosa Springs is a town in southwest Colorado known for its hot springs. It’s surrounded by the rugged San Juan Mountains and vast areas of national forest. The San Juan River, with its abundant trout, runs through town. To the southwest, Chimney Rock National Monument features the ruins of ancient Ancestral Puebloan dwellings. Take a day trip of scenic driving to the old mining town of Creede, Colorado.

From Hwy 160 in Pagosa Springs, take a left onto Piedra Rd, CO 600, go 6.5miles, turn left onto Turkey Springs Road. Free dry camping, no facilities.
