Organ Pipe National Monument preserves the northern-most natural habitat of Organ Pipe as well as amazing examples of desert plants, animals, geology, and human history. Enjoy the beauty in this desert oasis with great trails, scenic drives and star lit nights. Ranger led talks, hikes and van tours. Evening amphitheater presentations, wild flower desert drives and educational presentations at visitors center.
Twin Peaks Campground Now Open, First come first served until December 31st, January 1st through March 31st 2021 half of the sites will be reservable and Required – recreation.gov or call 1-877-444-6777. $10 a night with senior pass
South on US 95 from Quartzsite to I-8 east in Yuma to Gila Bend. Then south on AZ-85 to Organ Pipe. Sign at Visitors Center for Twin Peaks campground. $20/night; $10/night w/senior pass. No hookups. Dump, water, and solar showers available. Reservations are now recommended via www.recreation.gov. Suggested to reserve between sites 71 to 112. Use this as an opportunity to purchase insurance for your time in Mexico.
