Activity Ideas

Drive scenic Highway 20 through the Northern Cascades with many interesting stops along the way. While in the Winthrop area, check out Pearrygin Lake State Park, lots of hiking, biking and boating. Visit the Schaffer Historical Museum, Lost River Winery, Homestream Park, Big and Little Twin Lakes as starters. A must see is nearby Twisp which is known for their world class coffee, numerous excellent restaurants, offering quite a variety of food, quaint shops with local made items including craft brews. There are also mountain biking, golfing, fishing, and so much more.

Parking Location

Upper Bobcat Dispersed Camping. You will need to purchase a Washington State Discovery Park pass. The pass is $35 dollars for the year and can be purchased anyplace that fish and game license is available. Suggest you purchase it at the first possible place as we enter Washington. It is good for a full year from date of purchase and is good for entrance to Washington State parks, sno parks, trail heads, etc.
