Known as one of the most accessible beaches in all of Louisiana, Holly Beach offers a relaxed atmosphere, crabbing and fishing opportunities. Peveto Woods Bird & Butterfly Sanctuary, Wetland Walkway, and Sabine Pass Lighthouse and the Cameron Ferry. Sabine National Wildlife Refuge is the oldest and largest of three national wildlife refuges along the Creole Nature Trail. Established in 1937, this refuge of almost 125,000 acres conserves both freshwater marshes and salt marshes and the creatures that live in them.

From Port Arthur take TX 82 east, continue for 38 miles, turn right between milemarkers 24 and 25.
