Visit the Moose Pond via the 1.5 mile Lost Lake Trail, and bring your camera. The best time to view moose, water fowl, beavers and other wildlife is early morning and about an hour before sunset. Hike Best Mountain Trail and Quartz Lake Loop Trail. Visit the Sullivan Roadhouse Historical Museum and Rika’s Roadhouse at Big Delta State Historical Park. Take a tour of the Alaska Interior Game Ranch. This is the end of the Alaska Highway, so be sure to get a picture of the “End of the Alaska Highway” sign and a certificate at the visitors center.

Directions and Other Information

Free dump, potable water, air & Wi-Fi at Delta Petro-Wash. From Junction SR-2/Alaska Hwy and SR-4/Richardson Hwy go South on SR-4 approximately 0.5 mile and turn right. The dump and water are on the left side of the building next to the fence. There are also fuel pumps, a car/RV wash, laundromat, restaurant and convenience store.
