Visit the SS Keno, a preserved steamship with exhibits. Visit the Jack London Museum and the Dawson City Museum, as well as the Klondike Institute of Art and Culture. Drive to the top of Dome Road to take in a view of the city and the confluence of the Yukon and Klondike Rivers.

Gold Rush Campground, (867) 993-5247, 1207 5th Ave – downtown Dawson City. $22.88 US for dry camping; $35.63 US for 15 amp and water; free dump. Reserve your spot ASAP by emailing goldrushcampground@shaw.ca.

Directions and Other Information

Canadian and US Customs offices open 9 am to 9 pm (pacific time) when ferry is in operation (see above note). The best time to catch the ferry is mid morning. Time Zone change – Time Zone change – Alaska is one hour earlier.
