It is about a 10 minute ride, and lines are long in the morning. The ferry is closed Friday mornings from 5 am to 7 am for maintenance. The ferry accommodates the largest RVs including vehicles being towed. You might have to wait a little longer depending on the size, but be patient and they will get you on board.)

Visit the SS Keno, a preserved steamship with exhibits. Visit the Jack London Museum and the Dawson City Museum, as well as the Klondike Institute of Art and Culture. Drive to the top of Dome Road to take in a view of the city and the confluence of the Yukon and Klondike Rivers. August 15th-Annual Discovery Days Celebration, Authors on Eighth, and the Yukon Riverside Arts Festival.

Canadian and US Customs offices open 9 am to 9 pm (pacific time) when ferry is in operation (see above note). The best time to catch the ferry is mid morning. Time Zone change – Canada is one hour later.
