There is an 11-mile paved multi-use trail around Diamond Lake. There are many hiking trails, including a self-guided nature trail, Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail, Mt. Thielsen Trail and Mt. Bailey Trail; and that doesn’t even take into consideration the Crater Lake National Park and all it has to offer. Go to the Steel Visitor Center and watch the park film, drive around the lake, attend a Ranger program, find the phantom ship, take lots of pictures, visit the Sinnott Overlook, swim, and fish or dangle your toes in some of the world’s purest water. There are several dog friendly trails in the park. Take the Ranger guided Trolley Tour around Crater Lake and the Ranger guided boat tour. Take a Ranger led hike.
