This circuit will concentrate on Kayaking along with other water sports, drives, hikes and beautiful scenery. It will travel through northern Arkansas and southern Missouri. Janet Henry and Jean Fox will be the circuit Leaders. Please contact them if you are interested in joining. Due to limited parking, this circuit will be limited to about 15 to 20 people. If there is enough interest, a second circuit can follow 1 week behind. There are many stops that require reservations. Please talk to Janet or Jean prior to making them.
SILVER HILL, AR
Kayak Buffalo River, eat at Gilbert (population 33), hike, bike and fish.
Tyler Bend Campground NP. Water flush toilets, showers and dump. Visitor Center – 870-439-2502. Sites 14-28 are FF, reservations are needed for the rest. Dump, water, showers.
From Harrison, AR go south on Hwy. 65 about 32 miles, cross the Buffalo River and turn right to visitors center and campground. Boondock in drive in sites only $10 with senior pass. Need Reservations, www.recreation.gov 1-877-444-6777. Water and dump in campground.

There are 26 first come/first served dry sites. Sites with W/E can be reserved at 877-444-6777 or online at recreation.gov. Dry $10 with senior pass, E $15 with senior pass.
