The Western Winter Circuit begins with the famous WIN Fiesta at FOY at the Fountain of Youth. The 2022/23 Western Winter Circuit begins with the WIN Fiesta at the Fountain of Youth (FOY) Spa and RV Resort in Niland, CA. There will be lots of activities including, hiking, biking, 4 wheeling, pickle ball, bocce ball, tennis, yoga, karaoke, jam sessions, dancing and fun times in the pools and hot tubs. The circuit will then go onto Joshua Tree to explore nature and hike, Anza Borrego for Thanksgiving, Indio for shopping, and Yuma to celebrate the Holidays and perhaps get some dental work done. There will also be stops at Holtville, (Soaking in hot pools), Imperial Dam and finally Quartzsite for the Big Tent RV Show in the last half of January. This is a time to meet old and new friends from all over plus find out what is new for your RV.
ANNUAL WIN THANKSGIVING CELEBRATION. Scenic drive to Julian to eat apple pie, enjoy 4-wheeling, biking, hiking, and visiting Borrego metal sculptures.

Plan a Thanksgiving Pot Luck. Prepare your favorite dish to feed approximately 8 people.
Peg Leg Smith boondocking area. Host to get there a day or 2 in advance to confirm the space is available. If this area is not available, there is some dispersed area across the street and parking may be available at the VFW on town.
Take I-10 east to CA-86 west to S-22 west (at Salton Sea area). Take a right on Henderson Canyon Road. Water and dump available at State Park in Borrego Springs for $ and at the VFW for $.

Hot Springs North LTVA entrance, soaking pools, scenic pond, trash barrels. Los Algodones is only 40 miles away.
Long Term Visitor Area (LTVA) ($40 fee for 2 weeks) There is a north and south area parking area. Host should verify that the area is open and there is room for the group. The GPS is for the North area. Both areas require a permit – $40 for 2 weeks.
Long Term Visitor Area Parking $40 for 2 weeks. From I-8 take exit 131 (Vanderlinden Rd), go N, after crossing under I-8, turn right on Evan Hewes Hwy. ANNUAL WIN HOLIDAY CELEBRATION. Spend the holidays with your WIN friends. Dinner at VFW, New Year s Eve Dance, kayaking, walking, biking, hiking and many local attractions. Cross the border to Los Algodones for dental work, shopping and dining. VFW is open and they will probably have a holiday and New Year s party and pot luck.

Turn into VFW parking lot from US-95, go behind VFW building and thru gate to parking area. Registration is required, but no camping fees.

TK Jones Campground, Imperial Dam area. $15 night or $7.50 with senior pass. Annual pass $75 which gives you 14 days in, 14 days out, 14 days in etc. Rest rooms, showers for a fee, Potable water and trash. Dump station at nearby South Mesa. There is a lot of additional parking available within the Imperial Dam Recreation area under long term visitor use. The host can determine a different area if the group is too large for TK Jones Campground.
From Interstate 8, take the 4th Ave. exit to Imperial County Road S 24. Go north approximately 22 miles to Senator Wash Road. Turn left onto Senator Wash Road and follow the signs 4 miles to T.K. Jones Campground at Squaw Lake.
From Yuma, travel north on US 95. Turn left at Imperial Dam Road at the Big Guns Turn right onto Senator Wash Road and follow signs 4 miles to T.K. Jones Campground.

Proceed to 2 mile marker where you will see WIN signs on right side of road. Water and dump available at Pit Stop In Quartzsite for $, depending on the size of the rig.
