Eat dinner and enjoy the views at the top of the Calgary Tower, view the artworks and learn the local history at the Glenbow Museum, visit the Heritage Park Historical Village $10/general admission, walk the trails at Prince’s Island Park, visit Calgary’s first building at Fort Calgary. Walk or bicycle within the city. Get a group together and see if you can beat the deadline in an Escape Room – lots of fun, approximately $25/per person. Take a side trip to Cochrane to grab an ice cream cone at MacKay’s Ice Cream while meandering along the footpaths that line the Bow River as it passes through town.
Cross Iron Mills Mall parking lot, approximately 10 miles North of Calgary on the PH-2 (QEll) exit 275, go approximately 1/2 mile East on PR-566, turn right on Cross Iron Dr. Mall is on the right.
Free. No official stay limit. Park anywhere along the perimeter of the mall, the east side is the quietest. There is a special fenced gravel area for RVs to park overnight on the side of the mall beside Bass Pro Shop, and near Costco. Slides are okay but no chairs or BBQs. Check in with Mall Security inside the Food Court entrance. There are 200 stores, 100 outlets, and a cinema. There is free WiFi in the mall, and satellite and cell coverage is good.
