Visit Sacajawea State Park; visit the Franklin County Historical Museum or one of the several other museums; kayak the Columbia and Snake Rivers; attend a wine tasting at the Bartholomew Winery; and visit the Ice Harbor Lock and Dam Visitor Center. There is hiking, swimming, kayaking, and fishing at Hood Park, as well as the McNary National Wildlife Refuge that is adjacent to the park.

This campground is 100% reservable, so reservations are recommended, and can be made up to 6 months in advance at www.recreation.gov or by calling (877) 444-6777. Each site has a fire pit/grill and picnic table, sites 3-18 have 30 amp, and sites 2 and 19-69 have 50 amp. There are showers, trash dumpsters, potable water and a dump station. Alcohol is prohibited, and pets must be leashed. $30 – $35/night, half off with senior pass.
