There is also hiking, bird watching and fishing in the Yakima Sportsman State Park.
Legends Casino, 580 Fort Rd, Toppenish, WA 98948 There will not be a host and no meetings at the Yakima gathering. Dry camping is free at the Casino. Due to the extreme heat, other parking options available include the Yakima Elks, 318 Golf Course Loop Rd, Selah, WA. Electric is $25. $30 for FHU. At a higher elevation and west of Yakima is dispersed camping at the Peninsula Area of Rimrock Lake at Naches, WA. The GPS for the Peninsula area is N46.633538, W121.146835. $8/night, Sr Pass is $4/night.
For those of you planning to go to Rim Rock, the recommendation is to go to the airstrip area as the road to the peninsula is rough and narrow.
