The Kentucky Horse Park is the only park in the world dedicated to the relationship between people and their horses. The Park has museums, parades, walking tours and horseback riding available. In Lexington, tour the Mary Todd Lincoln House, the Kentucky Aviation Museum, and The Arboretum, State Botanical Garden of Kentucky is a 100-acre greenspace located on the campus of the University of Kentucky in the heart of Lexington.

Directions and Other Information

From US 60 E, use right lane to take KY-4 N, go 4.8 miles, take Exit 9B for KY-922N/Newtown Pike. Go 4 miles, turn left onto Iron Works Pike. Go 1.6 miles, turn right onto Campground Road. You will see sign to turn right for Primitive Camping. DO NOT USE GEORGETOWN RD AND BEREA RD.
