Take Highways 69 and 169 back to I-17. Take I-17 north to I-40, then west to Williams. Go north on AZ 64 (exit 165) to between mile markers 232 and 233. Drive east on FR-688 to area (.3 miles or 1.0 miles, depending on the number of rigs). Dump and water available in Grand Canyon Campground. Free.
Alternate route: Take highway 89 north to I-40. Go east on I-40 to exit 165. Go north on AZ 64. (follow directions above).

Go NW on US 89 thru Kanab to ½ mi. before Mt Carmel Jct at the bottom of long grade. Parking is on the right at a large gravel storage. Mt Carmel Jct is the junction of US 89 and UT 9 ( east entrance to Zion National Park).
